We are delighted to announce our third concert of the new season, Music for Reflection, headlining with the Fauré Requiem. In her first full season, conductor Olivia Shotton is already bringing her talent and energy to the Choir, expanding its repertoire and drawing singers together through melody, harmony and technique.
Although most often known for early music, here the Horsham Chamber Choir is singing from the 19th-20th century repertoire of Gabriel Fauré; Hungarian composer and educator Zoltán Kodaly; and Lili Boulanger, a remarkable woman composer born in Paris. In these more hopeful times, our programme of reflective yet powerful music is both a celebration of self-expression and a gentle reminder of our humanity. You can reserve your tickets now, by emailing information@horsham-chamberchoir.org.uk . Website: www.horsham-chamberchoir.org.uk

Olivia completed her Choral Conducting Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, where she is now the 2021-2022 Meaker Fellow. Alongside Horsham Chamber Choir she works with a number of other London choirs and sings professionally with many church and chamber choirs. She has provided backing vocals for live performances with The Rolling Stones and Ellie Goulding.
We are an audition choir and are always looking for new singers with an interest.
