The New Sussex Singers will be performing at Holy Trinity Church for the first time on Good Friday, 15th April, at 7.30pm.
New Sussex Singers is a chamber choir of around 30 auditioned members who sing a range of music at various venues, most often in Lewes, Haywards Heath and Newick.
The concert features one of J.S. Bach’s most celebrated works – Magnificat, along with his cantata Christ Lag in Todes Banden as well as works by Ethel Smyth and F. Melius Christiansen. Four professional soloists will join the choir which is directed by Sebastian Charlesworth.
