Free French Language Course – offered by Haywards Heath Twinning Association

As part of its celebration of 25 years of Twinning with BONDUES, near Lille in Northern France, the Haywards Heath Twinning Association is offering a FREE 10 week course in French to residents of Haywards Heath and surrounding villages.

The tutor will be Liz Price. Liz is a fully qualified teacher of adult learners and worked in Adult Education teaching French for many years. She then went on to train as a secondary school teacher teaching French at GCSE and A Level.
She currently runs the French Language Group within the Twinning Association.

This will be a relaxed and friendly course which will aim to provide a good introduction to French helping students to learn the building blocks of the language. The emphasis will be on spoken French and listening to French being spoken will also be an important part of the course.

The course will be suitable for those who have some basic French and will also be accessible for complete beginners.
There is no charge for the course but students will be expected to join the Haywards Heath Twinning Association prior to enrolling on the course. The annual membership fee is currently £10.
