BUCKINGHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL LOOKING SQUEAKY CLEAN AFTER ITS BIG CLEAR OUT

Buckingham Primary School has been given a new facelift, with the tidy up of their playground, updated fences and exciting new water feature installed all ready for the new academic year. This has been made possible with the help of students, teachers and local housebuilder Barratt Homes who is selling its new homes at its St Rumbold’s Fields development in Buckinghamshire.

Barratt Homes is extending their long-standing partnership with Buckingham Primary School having donated £500 towards the school in order to help with its new look. The housebuilder also volunteered at the school this month, helping with physical removal of dated items, cleaning up the grounds, and pruning trees and shrubbery. This is an extension of the ongoing partnership between the school and housebuilder, from a storytelling activity that took place in March of this year for World Book Day.

Kelly Brookes, Teacher at Buckingham Primary School, commented: “It is of the utmost importance that our children have a safe and clean environment to play and to let their imagination run free in. For months now our playground has been looking a bit tired and somewhat not looked after, therefore we are hugely grateful to Barratt Homes for not only donating £500 towards a lovely water feature and equipment, but for the number of volunteers they gathered together to help with the big clean. It’s a lovely way to start the new academic year come September and we look forward to working with Barratt Homes in the future.”

Marc Woolfe, Director of Sales at Barratt Homes North Thames, added: “We have been in partnership with Buckingham Primary School for a while now and as our relationship grows, we want to make sure we are supporting them in anyway we can. The volunteer from Barratt Homes thoroughly enjoyed helping clean up the playground and we hope that the children are looking forward to playing in their re-decorated space as well as appreciating the new water feature when the new academic year comes.”

St Rumbold’s Fields are currently selling two, three and four bedroom homes for a starting price of £275,000 for a 2 bedroom home.
