SAWBRIDGEWORTH HOUSEBUILDER WELCOMES THE SPRING WITH MAY FAYRE SPONSORSHIP

Local housebuilder David Wilson Homes has welcomed the beginning of spring in Sawbridgeworth, following its support of the May Fayre on Sunday 30th April on the Fair Green. The housebuilder, who is building its Sawbridge Park development in the town, donated £1,000 in support of the day and its activities.

Hosted by Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall Charity, the community gathered for a fun-filled day supporting small businesses and local sports facilities. There was a range of stalls, activities, and entertainment for all to enjoy, including live music, donkey rides and open day sessions at Sawbridgeworth Tennis Club and Cricket Club. Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall works tirelessly to put on events for the community and often run at a loss, so the donation from David Wilson North Thames helped the event to go ahead at full capacity for the community to enjoy.

Peter Lee, Chairman of Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall commented: “This is our third year running the May Fayre and it has been great to host yet another fantastic event for the local community! The success of the event is a testament to our community spirit here in Sawbridgeworth, and we are very grateful to David Wilson North Thames for its kind sponsorship, which went towards our costs and provided great live music and entertainment, which the guests really enjoyed.”

Marc Woolfe, Head of Sales for Barratt David Wilson North Thames, said: “It was wonderful to see the community come together at the long-awaited Sawbridgeworth May Fayre. We are proud to offer our support for the event, which was a fantastic opportunity for some of our newest homeowners to get involved in the local community, and hope that everyone enjoyed themselves!”
Currently available from David Wilson Homes at Sawbridge Park is a selection of two and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £400,000.
