Local housebuilder Barratt Homes has kickstarted celebrations in Hythe for the King’s Coronation, having sponsored the Hythe Coronation Festival on Saturday 6th May 2023. The housebuilder, who is building its Martello Lakes development nearby on Dymchurch Road, donated £400 to the Hythe Festival Company in sponsorship of the live band stand event.
Hosted at the Royal Military Canal, the local community gathered to start a weekend of celebration for the King’s Coronation. Visitors were treated to live entertainment and music at the festival’s Venetian Fete Bandstand, keeping them thoroughly entertained throughout the afternoon and into the evening. The £400 donation from Barratt Kent contributed towards the costs of hosting live music throughout the afternoon, which featured performances from local musician Jennie Laine and bands such Unshackled and Gumboots.

Currently available at Martello Lakes is a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom homes, with prices starting at £182,995 for a one-bedroom apartment.
