Angmering Tea Party receives sponsorship fit for a king

In celebration of King Charles’ Coronation on Saturday 6th May David Wilson Homes sponsored Angmering Community Centre’s Coronation Tea Party for residents.

Held on Tuesday 2nd May, the Centre’s tea party was open to all local residents in Angmering free of charge with refreshments served throughout the afternoon and Royal games aplenty. The housebuilder’s £250 donation helped to cover the refreshments and other running costs to support the event which was held on Foxwood Avenue.

Lucy Sunray, Manager of Angmering Community Centre, comments “The King’s Coronation has been a great excuse to gather the community together and celebrate this once in a lifetime occasion! David Wilson Southern Counties’ donation allowed us to boost our refreshments and games for residents so we could put the best event on possible and are really pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed the afternoon here at the Centre.”

Kimberley Benson, Sales and Marketing Director of David Wilson Southern Counties, commented: “We are so pleased to hear that Angmering Community Centre’s Tea Party was a great success with so many of our local residents able to meet the wider community here in the village. It is wonderful to see how the celebrations have brought communities together and we hope everyone enjoyed the Coronation weekend, celebrating with friends and family.”
