LPC continues to employ SIDs around the village and residents’ have reported a notable slowing in traffic when they are in place. However, research indicates that they are most effective when moved every 2-3 weeks and that approach will continue.
As previously, the data continues to show average speeds less than 30mph however, there is a minority who exceed this and the data is shared with Mid Sussex Police to support their targeting of excessive speeds.
