Members of SH2030’s Biodiversity Group and Henfield Conservation Volunteers worked to plant up a Community Orchard for Henfield including a variety of apples, pears and plums at the Sandpit Field between the Common and Furners Lane.
Thanks to those who donated trees, everyone who advised and helped us in the process. We hope this area will develop into a great resource for the Community and for nature. Great team work from everyone involved.
From Monday 7 March contractors will be working and increasing the planting areas in the High Street in Cooper Way and Bishops Close year round perennials and bee friendly plants
Improvements will be made to the planting outside SETyres and additional planters will be placed in the High Street
This is a joint project with Henfield Community Partnership and Sustainable Henfield 2030
