The Welcome Back Fund is providing councils across England a share of £56 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support the safe return to high streets and help build back better from the pandemic.
A programme of events was approved by Burgess Hill Town Council at the Full Council Meeting on 20 September and is now being progressed. This page will be updated with details of these events, and they will also be publicised through our usual channels – website, social media and noticeboards. Events will also all be publicised through our Events Mailing List.
4, 11, 18 December – We’re dreaming of a musical Christmas
Live music on the Bandstand every Saturday in the lead up to Christmas.
Burgess Hill Town Council is working with Burgess Hill Community Radio to provide a programme of entertainment to support the Town Centre, running Saturdays 4, 11, and 18 December, from 11am – 2pm. Keep an eye out for details of future performers.
11 December – Snow Queen Theatre Performances
Join us for an adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tale The Snow Queen, suitable for primary school aged children. The show will be performed by Quantum Theatre in Cyprus Hall, Burgess Hill. There will be two FREE performances on Saturday 11 December – 11am and 1.30pm.
